They are my college friends and until now we still have communication with each other. We make it a point to see each other when someone has a birthday but lately we seldom go out because majority of us have their own family now including me. We just emailed each other every now and then and ask what's new with our lives.

Four of us girls already got married and the two have their kids who are now in grade school. My best friend and I are still childless. We are not in a hurry and we don't ask God why. Because we know in God's Time, He will give it to us. I'm just irritated to some people who are always asking "You still don't have a baby?, Who has a problem, you or your husband?". I mean, hello who are you to ask me that kind of question. You're not God to tell that. The fact that were not also close friend to say that. Who don't want to have a baby anyway. I'm just telling them Hollywood stars who are in their 40's are just getting pregnant so no need to hurry and nothing is impossible now when it comes to having a baby. I'm just joking when I tell that because we don't really know what's good for us.

Me and my husband are being monitored by our doctor every month and we are taking medicines to help us conceive a baby. It helps in a way but for me, prayers is still the most powerful weapon. Taking medicines and going to the doctor is very expensive. But we are not counting how much money we have loss because we know that when our right time comes to have a baby, all the worries and negative things we have will all be erased.

I have this friend who will have the IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) procedure in the states. He said that it will cost around 14,000 - 15, 000 dollars. Whoah, that's very expensive, it's approximately P630,000. He told me that his insurance covered the IVF procedure and he will just pay the 10% of the total amount. Lucky guy indeed.

He asks for our prayers and hopefully the procedure will be successful so we can have an inspiration. So to my friend Ted and his wife, Hazel "Goodluck to you guys and hope the procedure in August will be a success. Just hold on to God and leave all things that doubt us to Him.

PriORiTy

Each of us have their own priorities in life. It really depends on what is the most important thing we want in life. I have this friend who is happy and and contented as being single individual. She says it's her family who is much important to her. It's her nephews and nieces who brings joy to her life. But the question is, what if she becomes old? Will her family still be there for her especially if they also starting to build a new family as well.

I also have a friend who is now in Canada. She has a two-year old kid she leaved here in the Philippines and living with her parents. She take the risk of going to Canada in preparation for their future together with her kid. She think a million times before pursuing her dream. There comes a time when she did want to go there anymore. But the time has come and she has no choice but to leave, tickets are very expensive also. After a few months, I saw her pics. She is very much happy and has no regrets in leaving the country. Although, she misses her kid, she did not take it as a hindrance but as an inspiration to give her child quality education and financial support.

As they say opportunity knocks only once and those people grab the opportunity and take the risks. I salute them because they have the courage and will to follow what their heart desires.
